The Vutara VXL is Bruker’s latest product offering in single molecule localization microscopy. Based on Bruker’s proprietary biplane technology for 3D single molecule localization, VXL is a compact unit that does not require a specialized microscope facility.
This presentation will cover the basics pd SMLM as super resolution technique, basic operating principles of the VXL, as well as cover the range of applications for which the system is suitable. Notably, in addition to cell cultures, VXL allows single molecule localization in tissues as well as small model organisms. Examples of sequential labelling for multiplexing, such DNA PAINT, which are possible with the VXL microfluidics option, will also be presented.
