Sanika Ambre

Sanika Ambre (she/her) is a graduate student in the Berman lab. She is studying the RNA-binding dynamics of the La-related protein (LARP1) using biochemical and structural tools. Prior to graduate school, Sanika received her undergraduate degree in microbiology from the Ramnarain Ruia College, Mumbai, India. She then pursued her master’s degree in human disease genetics at the Centre for Human Genetics in Bangalore, India. Outside of work, Sanika enjoys reading fiction and exploring new hobbies, such as crocheting.
