Dr. Davenport received her Ph.D. in Neuroscience in 2011 from Florida State University. Her research focused on the molecular mechanisms underlying learning and memory. She taught in Texas for many years where she won several teaching and service awards before joining the department at Pitt as a Teaching Professor in 2025.
