Foundations of Biology Lab Part-Time Lab Instructor Positions

The Department of Biological Sciences at the University of Pittsburgh invites applications for up to ten part-time Lab Instructor positions, each on a one-term basis, with an anticipated start date of 19 August 2020. These positions are outside of the tenure stream and entail teaching between one and three sections of authentic research laboratory courses for early career undergraduates. Minimum qualifications are an MS degree in biology or related field with some teaching experience; preferred qualifications are publication of post-graduate research work or a PhD in the biological sciences, formal training in teaching, experience as sole instructor of a laboratory course, and experience teaching an authentic-research laboratory course. Teaching evening sections may be needed.
