Dr. Hatfull and colleagues report in Cell on the newest advances in phage therapy

In the May 26th issue of Cell, Nick et al. discuss the use of two mycobacteriophage isolates to treat a Cystic Fibrosis patient with a severe bacterial infection. As a result of the treatment, the patient improved sufficiently that they became eligible for a life-saving lung transplant.
