Vertebrate Morphology Visiting Lecturer Position

The Department of Biological Sciences at the University of Pittsburgh invites applications for a full-time Visiting Lecturer position with an anticipated start date of 27 August 2018. This position is outside of the tenure stream and subject to annual review. Applicants must have a PhD in biology. The position entails teaching Vertebrate Morphology lecture and lab courses, an Introductory Foundations of Biology lecture course, and other courses the fit the expertise of the applicant. Candidates should submit (a) a letter of application, (b) a CV, (c) a teaching portfolio (teaching statement, teaching materials, teaching evaluations), (d) a summary of other relevant experience, if applicable, and (e) a brief description of how your teaching or service demonstrates a commitment to diversity and inclusion, as well as arrange to have at least three letters of reference sent to biojobs@pitt.edu. Applications will be reviewed starting 18 June 2018 and will continue until the position is filled. The appointment requires administrative and budgetary approval.
